The reference
Monarch Del Tempo takes the visual rhythm of radial aircraft engines as a starting point. Repeated elements radiate around the centre, giving the dial a sense of depth and mechanical order.
The project is a study of the watch as a designed object: how a case frames a layered face, how surfaces catch light, and how contrasting finishes give small components a stronger presence.
Form & proportion
A broad circular bezel is balanced by angular lugs and a dark strap. Warm metallic tones contrast with the darker case elements, separating the outer frame from the layered composition within.
The bezel gives the composition a clear boundary. Angular shoulders bring tension to the circular face.
Radial elements and overlapping subdial forms establish hierarchy across the face.
Rose-gold-coloured surfaces, dark components and red accents distinguish the layers.
A closer reading
The close view reveals the relationship between the raised bezel, layered dial and side controls. These details communicate the proposed visual character, rather than a verified movement or functional specification.
Project record
Monarch Del Tempo has not been manufactured. All images are renders or design visualisations. Movement architecture, materials, dimensions, complications and production feasibility are not presented as validated specifications.
